DCCD project

The DCCD provides a much needed facility for large-scale cultural studies in dendrochronology, a direction of wood research given top priority in the National Research Agenda for Archaeology (www.noaa.nl, chapter 3). Nationally and internationally the DCCD is supported by researchers in the Humanities (archaeology, architectural history, art history, the study of cultural landscapes) and Geosciences.

Currently the project members are reformatting data and upgrading metadata of a selection of material (ca. 20% of the data to be included in the DCCD). Here you find an overview of data and metadata that at present have been prepared for inclusion in the DCCD.
