In collaboration with Cornell University we have developed a multidisciplinary digital standard for tree-ring data and metadata. This standard, ‘Tree-Ring Data Standard’ (TRiDaS) version 1.2, is now online at www.tridas.org (this site is maintained by Cornell University (Peter Brewer)). All previous versions of this data model can be found here as well.
TRiDaS has been compiled by Esther Jansma, Peter Brewer and Ivo Zandhuis. An earlier version of TRiDaS (version 1.1) is in press at Dendrochronologia and titled: TRiDaS 1.1: The tree-ring data standard. A total of 79 dendrochronologists, users of dendrochronology and computer scientists from 14 countries have contributed to the design of TRiDaS as part of the DCCD project or through the Dendro Data Standard Forum.
