International data standard developed |

In collaboration with Cornell University we have developed a multidisciplinary digital standard for tree-ring data and metadata. This standard, 'Tree-Ring Data Standard' (TRiDaS) version 1.0, is now is online at www.tridas.org (this site is maintained by Cornell University (Peter Brewer)). In all 75 people from 13 countries contributed to the current version. The reason for making a site is that we hope to learn from our collegues who have additions to and/or comments about this first dendro data-standard version. (Nice to know: public dendro software developed by Peter Brewer at Cornell will use this standard, which will certainly promote TRiDaS.) |
